I have a 1969/70 B engine case that's cut .080 on the thrust and .040 on the crank. Is that too worn out? Do they make bearings big enough for another cut. Is it OK for a stocker? Probably not useable for an 1835.

I would say that's pretty worn out. But I'm sure you got plenty of good use out of it. A new long block would get you back on the road for many more miles!

Well that's the problem. I need to put another motor together for my bus. This case was in my buddies shed for about 15 years. I'm trying to find a good case. I'm thinking I may pass on this one unless this one is fixable.

Find something better. That's worn out.

It's junk. Find another case.

I won't use a case past 0.040 or after the 1st trust cut

if it's withen spec it should be good to go....for what it is. but ...I would rather spend $800.00 on a new aluminum case
