Hey all! Ok, since I got my '73 Super in December (week before my Bday) and I've been wondering about my carb...?

If anyone remembers, I rarely have the "hesitation" problem anymore, I think I got it all worked out, when I replaced the alternator (man, was that a job and a half), as I had to take the carb off (don't ask) to get the bloody alternator out... Replaced the plugs and wires at the sametime, so that helped, I'm sure.

I'm not looking to mess with anything that ain't broken, but is there a timeframe when one should rebuild their carb? I have no idea if the carb I have has ever been rebuilt...

Thanks!

BTW, I did do a short search, and didn't come up with anything that "looked" as if it would answer this question, if there is something that does I would appreciate help looking in that direction.

You rebuild the carb when the adjustment screws don't get it running right any more.

Thanks guys! I had a feeling that it wasn't a "set" time frame kind of thing, but I was definitely in need of info to understand when it should happen.
