Hi

I found this in the on-line bazar in the Czech Republic where I live... the add says "open to offers".

http://auto.bazos.cz/inzerat/57233295/VW-T1-Kombi-Bus-Bulli-Transporter-Veteran.php

How much is this bus worth do you think?

This is a translation of what the add says:

For sale is issued Volkswagen T1 Original MADE IN WESTERN GERMANY!
No Brazilian fake !!!
Supplied in Miami USA 03.16.1960
About the car:
State can accurately tell from the photos, and is essentially the standard for 56-year-old car.
Enough solid foundation for upgrading, lower from 10 to 15 cm are obviously on the exchange and boil, from half up, i.e window frames, pillars, roof in excellent condition - no work!
The chassis if you want to leave your car in the original, just sandblasted and powder paint on the chassis because nothing is missing!
Wheels are 14 "in great condition, tires would probably prefer to keep new.
Parts of cars are already commercially available. On request parts can help.
Both manufacturing labels and of course they are both the same VIN number (see. M-Plate Decode).
It is an import from the US, I had this big techničák (Certificate of title) and confirmation of customs clearance !!
So it is ready to log in CR!

I look forward to the event of queries.
Price: Negotiated

Yes they did, well into the 70s. Check the classifieds here, there are lots.

You can definitely buy that bus cheap....But Czech republic is 7,000 kilometers away. Do you think it is really worth the cost both time & money to have a rusty bus shipped from Europe to Canada?
