I am just wondering, I've never even heard of this carb before the samba. My buddy was telling me that he likes to use these ones with square barrels(could those be it). I've always heard that webers are the best, but what do I know, I'm a newbie at most of this stuff, I would just like to hear your input. Thanks.

There very nice carbs. There the "poor mans" carbs. You get the dual carb look, more power,easy to adjust, pretty good on gas and best of all easy on you wallet. I had kadrons lil over a year, never had a problem with them.

I have run Kads for most of my racing career and they are a great low budget way to have a set of dual carbs, that require very little maintenance, gives better MPG & HP. You can pick a set up for as little as $50 to new over $300. AJ Simms is a great source for Kadron info and you can check is website out @ http://www.lowbugget.com. Not sure why Jake does not like them but he has been at this a long time and has his own opinion. I have run a best of 8.09 in the 1/8th on a 1614cc motor in a 940lb sand rail (not including my fat arse). If you need more info you are welcome to PM me. Thanks and good luck.

Kadron quality isn't as high as Weber or Dellorto. I personally don't like them.

Guys that have dealt with Kads pretty much exclusively can tune them OK, but not as good as webers or Dells.... I'm just the opposite. I can set dells and webers by smelling the exhaust, but Kads F- me all up!

used to think they were good until i tried some dells, then i realized just how bad they are.
