I am running a set of Kadrons on my 77 bug.My problem is the check ball,,,At least I think that`s what it is,,,, seems to have come out from where ever it goes.It`s a small ball a little smaller than a BB.I was just replacing my float,and when I poured the gas out of the bowl it fell out.By the way if it helps,the thing wont idle right and I`m getting way too much gas to this carb now when it is idling.The other carb is fine.I see the gas dripping in the carb while it`s idling also and the one that is working fine doesn`t do this.If the problem is the check ball being out will it fix these problems,if not what do I need to do to fix these problems?Also if you need a more in depth description of the problem please ask so I can give you all the info you need.I know this problem probably seems lame to a lot of you, but please have patience with me.I`m grateful for any help . You should replace the check ball. It goes under the Accelarator pump tube. Just lift it up and drop it in the hole. Also if you lost it Lowbugget has it for $2.00.
