| I disassembled a used 40hp to get some parts for my 1500 rebuild, and I'm confused by one thing. The 40hp (and several catalogs) have a metal gasket on the crank-to-flywheel surface. Some catalogs also show a paper gasket for other years. Which one is used on a 1500/12volt? Paper, metal, or none? |

| 12v flywheels have an "o-ring" and do not need the other shim/gasket |
