Anybody have pictures of their SP engine with the Kads mounted ?
I have a pair I just picked up, but don't have any reference to go by. Just want to make sure I have everything. Mine came with the old Kad linkage, I think I'll get the Scat from AJ when I send them to be rebuilt. Any opinions? what about the fuel lines? There is a T mounted to the linkage, where do you locate that when using the Scat linkage?

I don't know about the linkage, but on a SP, I would add some sort of brace from the top of the aircleaner to the fan shroud to prevent the carb from wobbling back and forth and causing a vacuum leak.

Actually I just scores an old school set of steel manifolds with the rigid tubing still intact. I just have to clean them up and powder coat them. They are very rigid, I suppose thats why they put that on there in the first place.

W1K1, that sounds like what I've got. I picked up a pair and Kads and the manifolds and sent them off to AJ. They worked great!

Does yours still have the tube attached? I didn't see in the picture. or is the tube supposed to go to the back? :shock:

I put my tube in the back (or front, really :wink: )

I don't think it matters though, I think its just cleaner back there.

Yes, the balance tube goes around (front) between the fan shroud and the fire wall. As was suggested to me, I have the tube under the accelerator cable, sitting on the case. AND remember, the front of your car is the front :wink:

Well don't have any pics, or a single port, but just thought I'd pipe up and mention that although I haven't run it either, I have gone so far as to install a Scat linkage from AJ last fall to replace the old original linkage that never failed me but also never earned much trust. So while I can't wholeheartedly endorse it, if appearance and peace of mind count for much, I would at least suggest it.
