August 20 will be the second annual VW and Audi races/car show/meet up at Mason Dixon Dragway in Boonsboro Maryland. Open to all VW and audi vehicles to attend.
This track is located about 10 miles outside of Hagerstown. We are aware there is another VW car show the same day at the fairgrounds but we will be racing and handing out show awards about 5pm which will give people enough time to attend BOTH events! For the car show people, consider this like an after party and a chance to score some more hardware and watch some fast VW's on the track.
Gates open at 10AM. Racing starts at noon. Time trials until 3PM and eliminations to follow.
General admission-- $10
Kids under 12-- FREE
Car show-- Top 15. Best air cooled. Best water cooled. Tracks choice. $15 entry.
Drag race information: No matter how fast or slow, you can race! We will have 1/8 mile brackets and a heads up class. If that does not interest you, there will be a 1/4 mile test and tune lane all day. Race your friends. Settle a grudge or try it out for the first time.
Classes:
A/Gas-- $50 tech card. 1/8 mile, heads up, pro tree, fastest 8. Any vw or audi powered door car. No weight limit.
Winner $600. Runner up $200. Semi final $50
I/Gas-- $40 entry. 1/8 mile bracket, sportsman tree. 7.99 and faster. Any VW or Audi.
Winner $700. Runner up $300. Semi final $50
H/Gas-- $35 tech card. 1/8 mile bracket. 8.00 and slower. Sportsman tree.
Winner $400. Runner up $200
Test and tune-- $30 entry. 1/4 mile.
