| i purchased a 1973 bus in the beginning of january and since then been having some minor problems. today i was driving ont he freeway when i heard a popping sound and my engine began to sound funny. i have no idea what it is, but the engines roar sounds louder. does anybody have any idea what it could possibly be? |

Sounds as though maybe you have developed and exhaust leak. You might want to repost this in the bay window bus forums since that is where the 68-79 bus gurus hang out.
But before you do that, poke your head underneath and see if you can find an obvious hole or crack in any part of your exhaust system. |
