My dad had collected about 50+ of these license plate frames.. All from the 60's and up. I had 2 stacks of 25 and some more..

I gave them all to Frenchy..

well I've purchased alot of VW's since moving to the high desert and about 5 of them have had these Lake Gregory Crestline Ca. frames on them and so I'm sure there was a dealership. Any info would be cool. I'm having a hard time finding anything :x

I don't think thats a dealer frame. They have been selling those plate frames forever. I also searched for any scrap of info for this dealer and nothing. Just a souvenir, I think. The reason you are finding them in the high desert is because people from the desert would come up, and buy a souvenir. Before it was plate frames, now its stickers.

Yep I agree 100% now :lol: I go there too to the lake for the slide and just to chill. It's a great place to just relax 8)

Post a picture so we can see the condition and we'll tell ya :wink: but off the top of my head the last one I seen sold for $75.shipped :D and it was NICE !

found a Barney Garver Houston pair of frames. They are not listed in the frame list.

I am looking for a Stateside Motors Dealer Frame out of Jamestown NY. The one shown here is a later plastic version from the 90's.

just got the info from vw usa, looks like my 91 vanagon was sold new in hilo hawaii :D would love to get anything that might have the dealer name on it, but most of all the dealer frame. :arrow: :?: what type of frame did the dealer put on vws back in 1991? BIG ISLAND VOLKSWAGEN

San Diego Mission Bay dealership frame. This pair is date coded on the back side 11-82. Notice the checker board corners. Earlier frames have mesh looking designs in the corners I believe.

You got one to sell? I've been looking for a Brundage frame for 5+ years.
