| My favorite history teacher once said that if you bury anything for a hundred years or more, it becomes instantly valuable. So.....lets' get our shovels!! |

The Aztek IS ugly, but they were fairly well made (as long as the intake gasket was replaced). My uncle had one for years, and he told me you don't notice its ugliness from the inside, which was very well laid out, and he told me the all wheel drive worked awesome.
As far as Edsels, they were doing everything OPPOSITE that other manufacturers were doing at the time, which killed its sales, but I don't think they are ugly.
It's kinda funny, the Tribeca sort of used the same grille as an Edsel. Apparently, they didn't study history before they designed it.
The bike-ramp Sevilles are maybe my least favorite design. I pretty much dig the goofy-looking front ends on old Mopars. I also think 1980s Toyotas are hideous too. |

| The Aztek and the Cube are tied for all-time ugly IMO. The dumpster vs. the gumbymobile. Both freakishly hideous. |

It's always surprised me that the z3 and z3 based cars come in automatic. I heard that you had to special order a manual stick. Not surprising for cars these days BUT it only seems logical that a (previous) Bond car/sports car would come in stick.
Whatever, Brosnan wasn't that cool either so it kind of makes sense.
And yes... That thing is ugly as s$$$t |

The early z cars were ok. The z4 (I think) with it's wierd rear spoiler molded in is down right ugly. The z8 is a thing of beauty.
But now were getting of track. Back to ugly. |

Aztek....I get that one. This is a concept that reviewed well because it was built cool. Huge wheels muscular body lines and people loved it at the auto shows. The problem is in the execution. The car they built was only simular in shape and size. Everything cool about the concept was removed in the production model. That POS was a bait and switch from word go.
Turds like that get built, and I can't get a f'n gladiator! WTF. |

| The Buick Rendezvous is quite an awful piece of work. Just...nothing about it really looks good or works well. It's an incongruous mess. |

I'm still debating if this car is ugly or not, the Ferrari shooting brake, or FF.

When I saw this thread was back my first thought was to post up the BMW Z 3 coupe.
Since it's been posted I would like to submit the previous generation Cadillac SRX. Looks like they grafted the ass of a minivan they were developing onto an SUV they were working on

| I never thought those SRXs were bad; In fact, I like the later ones with the sport package (the lower picture ^^above^^). |

x2
I think you have to appreciate a more angular design theme to like it though. That gray isn't the best color choice ether, make it burgundy and it's a sexy car. |

I always thought these angular Cadillacs look like the cars GM drives around before new car announcements, with cardboard panels covering up the new year's styling cues.
Curves take imagination and soul, both lacking in these cars. |

| Curves are what made Cadillac "boring" 15 years ago. I think their latest lineup is the best looking in some time, although I still like my SLS. |
