Well, it seems that the left outer wheel bearing decided to become one with the spindle. The van is in our shop, on the rack, obviously NOT moveable. Is there anyone locally that might have a 86-91 2wd L/H spindle available? Any help is greatly appreciated. |

Funny...I just lost the left front wheel bearing, rollers disintergated.
Used the right grease and adjustment. I guess one in a billion SKF bearings can go bad!

I believe there's a yard in Shelton that has a few Vanagons. There's also a '91 for sale on CL locally that probably could be had for around $500

Well, I hope you've got it fixed by now or were going to stay in Olimp for the holiday weekend anyway. But if still in need, you might check with Das Autohaus down by the waterfront. olympiaautohaus.com I don't know if they have the part/s you need but they will probably have sources. They did me a huge good deed last year when I was broken down nearby so I give them good Karma rating. |
