how do i lower my squareback?
i've been wanting to do this for a while...but i don't really know how. i want to do it right. i want it to have a good ride. i was looking into getting these at JCW

i dunno tho. i think those are only for the back. do i just get two sets? is there another thing i need or a better way to lower it?

Your squareback isn't a honda you can't just buy shocks or springs to lower it. Try reading a previous thread this will give a decent idea. I haven't had much time to read through nor can i explain it right now but here is the link. http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=51814

i looked at that topic and i see how to do it. but how do i lower the front? because 67 just said how to do the back, is it the same?

Don't buy anything from JC whictney. That would be your biggest mistake.

they had a big thread about lowering a type 3 a while back. Do a search, it was a good thread that everybody got in on.

You must not have searched very hard, as the second page of that post talked about doing the front. Or if you had scrolled down a little further on this page you would have found a post about lowering a 69 Squareback. Yeah, and the second most common question is... can I put a bug motor in my type3? Ev, we need to make a sticky. :roll:
