Hi Guys,
I've never seen such a thing, is this a VW part or someone's clever idea to protect the cargo area from damage. really well made and it certainly did the job of protecting the outer skin as the bus (Kombi) is very straight.
This is a 58-59 RHD Aussie Bus.

very cool looking interior panels and as you said if they are home made somebody sure went to a lot of effort and had an eye for detail.
Is the outside of the bus painted L345? Not sure what year the bus is but does it have an M-Code tag? Would be interested to see that |

I agree, those are badass, never seen them before, likely a locally sourced item.
VW or not I'd keep them. |
