Howdy yall, my name is Junior and I fell in love with old VW's. Can yall help me with my problem?
I am a total diesel nut. I am all about Cummins. I thought I would never drive anything else, till I found thesamba.
I never really cared or thought about old Volkswagons, till I came to college and saw a feller (I know you're on here somewhere) with 2 bugs that lived a couple apartments down from me.
I loved the sound of that 'ol red, cammed out bug and decided I had to know more.
I got on here just looking around, and saw the baja bug. I hadn't ever seen one, or even heard of one, and from the first look, I knew it was on. I struck a chord that keeps ringin in my ears, and I can't shake it. I have to have one. I've done a plethora of research on here and other sites, and now I'm not going to stop until I have one.
I never thought I'd ever sell my truck, now I'm trying to get rid of this thing to get a baja bug. Anyone need a 2001 Cummins 4x4? lol
So, I just made this thread to say howdy, and I hope to be thoroughly picking yalls brains for anything VW. And hopefully I can soon join you. |

Welcome! You can have your diesel and your baja too! This is my project Baja, it has a 1.5 diesel in it. It is almost done. I guess I should update my thread....

Just combine the two loves for a hot time. I love my 6X6 hopped up Cummins, and I love my VW's. Combine them and have a even better time.

| Great to see another diesel/aircooled convert. I started with VWs (aircooled) and then found diesels later in life. Its all good. Welcome aboard! |
