| I have a 30 PICT 2 carburetor that has an arm / lever beside the the actual throttle arm that the throttle cable is attached to. This arm is between the throttle arm and the carburetor. I am not sure what this arm is for. I have looked on line and I am seeing 30 PICT 2 carbs that have this arm and ones that don't. Can someone please tell me what that arm is for? Thanks. |

It's for the throttle positioner that came on it when new. It was an early smog device that held the throttle from snapping shut.
If you search 'throttle positioner" in the forums, you'll get a bunch of info on it. :wink: |
