Got a very original 6V 66 with what appears to be the wrong air cleaner - its part number is 211 129 607C. It nearly fits but does not seem to clip onto the support stand on the RHS. The neck from the carb to filter is also plastic and seems a later part?
Apart from spending over 100 bucks at KGPR I could look our for one at local meets / traders for secondhand. But to be confident I need some part nos or a good pic.
Thx

Here's one in a car on ebay:

It is the same as a bus unit, so the part number sounds right |

I think that part number may be for a later (1971?) bus air cleaner.
According the the parts info I have, the earliest engines shared the air cleaner with the bus, but the later F code engines had a Ghia-specific air cleaner, part # 141 129 613. |

Thanks for the info - I'm looking at this filter in the for sale section of split buses and it seems very close - certainly a lot closer than I have. What do you reckon?

Prob worth 25 buck risk I think?
Thx

Hi Broadacus,
Nice idea but methinks I'll end up spending on shipping from the UK?
Thx anyway,
