OMG
just saw those cars in a magazine yesterday and they are just amazing!!!
for those who doesnt know,they were cars produce for ww2(i think)by vw and they are also a small boat!!!

any1 here have one of these?if yes are do they do in water?
must be fun,like honey theres traffic on the bridge!dont worry,rolls to the water and go in with the car,laughing at those non amphibious cars!!!

Cheapest presentable/driveable example I've seen is $65k, seen them as high as $100k. If your serious in buying one now :wink: lemme know, I can help you find one.
They're 4 wheel drive but can be 2 wheel (front axle only) as well by switching a lever. They were actually not used too much as amphobious cars during the war, most were sent in remote offroad sites where it's 4x4 capablities were needed. |
