69 x TW 92
In a fully loaded bay, would some worked 35x32 heads be the best bet or would it be money well spent going for Panchitos? Stock exhaust

If you are keeping the stock heater boxes you need to keep the stock size valves. You can P&P them.

My Super Street heads work great in that application.

:)

Funny how the same topics come up in the same day...

I disagree but...I also wouldn't spend the money have a case opened to 92, if you're gonna do the machine work just go 94.

What cam, carbs and exhaust? Stock or 100 cam with a stock Dansk T2a exhaust go stock valves. Dual 40s and merged exhaust (or high end exhaust) I'd go 40x35.5.

Looks like that'll be the only option

I'd love a pair, theyd match my 050's on the other engine nicely :D But import duties and taxes kill that idea :( Unless you marked them as warranty replacements or something :o

Thickwall 92s in a camper so 92mm case bore and 94mm heads.

Those Mofoco 35.5 x 32s look perfect for the application. definately stay with 35.5 x 32, or maybe 37 x 33 if you can do the work/porting yourself. That's going to be a sweet engine!

Thanks Freebug, how about the 041 Roy offers? 39 x 32 how would that play with my split cam?

NO!

Your cam should be doin enough for I/E ratio, especially if you dio 1.25 rockers on intakes, stock on exhaust. I'm no fan of 041s, a bit lopsided.

Thanks for clearing that up :)

Sorry Alstrup this engine saga just keeps on going lol. Now the Beetle is on the road again though this camper engine has become my priority now... Hence the 6 month gap :D

Have you got anything suitable sat on your shelf T? :D

From the ad it indicates that they are ported and polished-do you happen to have the flow numbers? Also, it does not mention anything about a valve job and what type of valves are used. Just curious about these.

Yes let us know how they look when you get them

UK Luke 72 Sun Dec 11, 2016 7:59 am

It'd be cool to see some numbers Roy... Just out of interest :)

I'll keep you all posted when they arrive :)
