At least two different ways. It can be pop-rivited or you can use small screws and nuts. I've seen originals mounted both ways from the factory. |

Thanks Crofty. Can you give me a starting point/measurement as to where it fits?

OK, so your bus wasn't ordered with a rack. Where do you want me to measure from?

Thanks Crofty
Spot the novice (me)!!! Mine did come with a rack.... Does this mean it would be two piece if there was a rack and one piece if not? Does this mean I have the wrong awning channel? How does the awning fit if the rack is in place.....so many questions!!!

luciano Ive never seen just a 1 piece rail designed for no rack. My 66 SO-42 uses both rails because of the gap needed for the Westy Rack leg. Measure your rail and post> Al |

Since racks were an option and not standard there would be two different lengths. I have seen both types. |

I have no idea about this, just guessing. But if you had a tent, and a tent rail on your drip rail, wouldn't your bus come with the rack to haul the tent? |

Like I said above, the rack was an option on SO42's. So was a pop-top and the tent. |

If you hold it on the rail where one end is above where the vent wing and front slider window meet the rail should extende to the rear of the last window on the pass side.
Interesting how it looks to fold under the drip rail when mounted. My westy doesn't do that. |
