hey all i just want to know how i can tow a 69 at squareback with a two bar. I just bought a two bar...i believe that its a bumper two bar...if anyone could help me thanks

Don't use a bumper mounted tow bar, as it will rip out the mounts from the body and cause damage it the body. :shock: If this is all you have, throw it in the truck and rent a tow dolly. This way you won't be a hazard to other drivers sharing the road with you. If you scroll down the page, you'll see a post on tow bars. Read it, as there is some very good info there. Sorry if I'm harsh sounding, but the bumpers are only held on with either 4 or 6 bolts that are only 8mm in diameter. The bumper tow bar probably has larger bolts than these. :roll:

I agree with Bob, type 3 towing is not like a type one. I bought a tow dolly in order to bring mine from SC to AZ. A type one towbar that attaches to the front beam will not fit a type 3 beam either. The tow dolly is the best choice IMO. Also make sure that you remove the halfshafts if the car has a autotrans.
