| Im trying to switch my type 3 four lug w/adapters set up to type 1 wide 5 brakes for my 60 bus (so I can do away with those shitty adapters) and My day didnt go so well!!!!!! I have what I thought would be everything I needed to to make a quick switch? WRONG! will the type 3 bearing caps work still with the type 1 brake set up? The drum wouldnt go all the way on? Everything was on right but I had a 1/4in. gap between the backing plate and the drum....Oh and that was with no wheel cylinder on, I was just checking at the time to see the set up? Help? |

so, first off you want to swap adapters for spacers correct?
Second, you need to make a phonecall to the dude whose shop appears in your avatar. He'll get you straightened out.
When you start Fing with all the mods, you gotta get it all the first time and for sure it's never a slam bang and done job. But I think you know that.
