I see crap people post in various forums of a headlight, or a carburetor or stuff like that spread throughout the galleries. may i suggest a category in the gallery for forum use?

Isn't that what the parts and accessories categories are for? :shock:

I think he means a "junk" or temporary category for pictures with no lasting value. When someone posts a photo to link to a question like "is this the right fuel pump for my car?" -- the photo answers the question, but under the present system it becomes a part of the gallery forever.

Good idea, but I think it is beyond the knowledge of most users to fathom. I suspect it would also be abused.

It would be better to post it in the correct Gallery category so it is available for the future.

When you post a picture in the gallery, you can go back later and edit it. So if you put some temporary description in order to get a question answered, it would be cool if you went back later and put the answer or put in a good description based on what you learned.
