no nothing about them!
however SS on a set of mainafolds. mean shaur and shon. i guess they where a aftermarket producer of vw iteams. mostly perfromance i think. i cant think that they made a ugly looking hubcap, but maybe they did!

not that i know anything, but they look really old, possibly war era... and as we all know vws were manufatured in germany during that time... hitlers personal bodyguards were called the Schutzstaffel, or SS; and their insignia looks a lot like the ss in the center of those hubcaps.
so maybe they were off a special run of vw for the SS or something... just an interesting theory though :roll:

I'd say they are aftermarket copies with a modified VW logo to not get in problems with VW Copyrights.
I've seen similar hubcaps too with an X logo on too (also a modified VW logo)
The wartime SS logo looks different... |
