I just got a new cargo door handle, this one I have been using to open and close the cargo door. Has a D printed on the inside of the handle but it dosent look like an early handle and no keycode I can find besides the D.
can anyone identify this? is this an aftermarket handle? |

Looks like the outside cargo door handle off a early Bus, becuase it is a locking one, it must be a accessory, do you see a part number anywhere on it? Looks pretty good shape. |

that little blurry circle lookin thing on the underside pic is a D. no numbers on the shaft at all as on my new 65 handle.
The thing that keeps me from thinkin this is 50-63 handle is the lack of notch on the side close to the key.
Wolfsburg west on keys.....

Could be Bay Window, definitely, positively, not early Bus. Throw it as far away from your Bus as you can. |

Looks like a generic cabinet handle of some sort, definitely not bay either. |
