I have a feeling my Beetle is a Super Beetle..... I read somewhere that the tire lays flat in a recess in the "trunk"? If so, wow, I have some work ahead of me with the front end. When making a RH Passenger) turn feels like the RF tire wants to fly off at 40 MPH plus (long turn, no hotrodding).
She is a 72 and purty......

| Check the front end. If it has MacPherson struts... it's a Super. |

Hmmmm MacPherson struts..... Had to look at a picture and saw the stabilizer arms from the Haynes book, so yup, guess them thar be MacPherson struts. Groovy, I am just glad to know why there were more than 10 fuses in the fuse box and makes why some body things I bought did not work proper....
Thanks for your help in the ID of my girl, guess she is a chubster now, wouldn't call her fat, bad for her ego....
