| there is what someone claims to be a barndoor speedometer on e-bay. it could very well be but it is in mph not kilometers.......is this right? i dont know enought about early busses but it seemed strange. |

My USA-delivered Barndoors have all been in MPH, as you would expect. |

| All UK delivered 54-55 barndoors also had MPH speedos. Some of these later Barndoor speedos are date coded up to 1957 .... they were replacements. |

Sorry to pull up an old thread, but I just received a 54 barndoor speedo to rebuild and when I opened the box I though the guy that sent it to me bought it from someone that ripped him off. I was shocked at how much smaller it was then a normal speedo, big goofy needle and no warning lights. I actually had to look in the classifieds to see if I could find one for reference :lol: I thought this was from an Isetta or something :lol:
