i recently was offered 5 914 porsche wheels (original, not replica) http://www2.cip1.com/SearchResults.asp?Cat=1234 they look like that. and brand new tires on all wheels. goodyear tires, he said 100 dollars a tire. also with only 1000 miles on these tires, they should be worth just about full price. I can get them all for $550.00.
good deal?? or not?? |

Deal? That's subjective. Some folks just gotta have the originals. If yer one of those folks, then it's probably a good deal. If you can use the tires, that makes the deal even sweeter. On the other hand, if the rims need polishing and repainting, figure on doubling your investment [unless you can do it yourself]. As for repops, they are a great looking wheel, and you wont need to do anything to them other than mounting them on your car. What size are the tires? If they are 165's or 175's, and your car isn't lowered, then you can use the tires. If yer gonna lower your car, you'll prolly need to buy a new set of front tires.
But most importantly, get them only if you like them.

| Are they the 2 litre or the fuch wheels? The 2 litre have the 4 bolt pattern and actually, IMO, harder to find than the fuchs, which come in the 5 bolt pattern. Look in the classifieds and compare. If they are fuchs, that is one hell of a deal. And, personally, I don't think tires have anything to do with the price. The wheels alone are worth that, so, yes, it's a good deal! |

The 4 bolt 2 litre were also made by Fuchs. They are forged while the aftermarket are just cast.
Do the come with the longer bolts?

| yah, they are the 4 bolt, and they look brand new. no polishing needed, no cleaning. ill get some pictures up. the tires are "goodyear eagleRH 60r15's in the back and 50r15's in the front. and i also lowered the car 2 inches in the front. there is plenty of room space. |
