| So I just spend the past three hours taking off the old hinges and putting in new ones. I got them in they looked great, it closed and it was flush, so I was spending time adjusting the hood. Mind you I was very excited because this was the third time I have "fixed" these freaking hinges. SI then I adjust then I shut and bammo! It happens all over again, the right hinge bends to the out side of the car and the whole freaking hood moves over and up on the right side making a huge gap. And I want to kill the freaking car right now. Usually the clip on the top right flys off then it bends, I checked the clip and it was still on but not all the way. It was the stock clip not an e-clip on the top. I'm at the end of my rope guys what should I do? |

| sorry I don't have a digital camera. But on the drivers side is where the problem is. The part that bent is the metal that is in the middle of the spring. it is pushed out so the hinge portion is rubbing against the side of the trunk, as it goes down it scrapes and when it gets to the part where the hinges curves it pushes out further moving the whole hood towards the drivers side (I viewed this by closing myself inside the hood). So yeah.... sorry I can't get a pic... but I'll see if I can find a picture and then draw arrows or something |
