Wanted to say thanks to Keith for helping me out with rebushing a 28 PICT. Did some trading on some cores and sent me back a like new carb. Looks great. It's good to know there is someone out there doing these throttle bushings. Keith is super knowledgeable and easy to deal with. He will definitely be doing all of my carbs from here out.
Thanks again Keith!

I sent in my old worn out 34pict3, and he sent back a work of art, complete with base gasket, vacuum plugs and nuts for the carb studs. Little stuff that I wouldn't expect.
Now my SC runs awesome! Keith is truly an asset to the hobby.

Hiya All,
Strictly the best. You can't go wrong with Keith. This guy knows more about carburetors than any 12 other folks. To top that off, he's a standup guy with which to do business. |

I contacted Keith about rebuilding my carb... but he told me a bunch of things to check based on my description of my problems and after a few messages and following his instructions I solved the issues and tuned it out myself.
Nice to know that there are people out there who are willing to help you as well as sell you a part. In this case I did not need the rebuild but if I do in the future I know who I am going to contact.
Thanks Keifer! |

Keith is a carburetor master.
I towed a car from Modesto, California all the way to Houston Texas. Once it got there, something was making the car flood, and it wouldnt' start when hot. He mailed me a few needle and seats, and VIOLA! the problem went away when I installed the first one. Keith is a life-saver!
Thanks man! i thank you, and my buyer thanks you, even though he doesn't know about that! LOL |

I hit up Keith recently out of blue for a late model foot rest that he mentioned in a post a couple of years ago. I was not sure if I would even get a reply because of the lapse since this post, but very quickly after my PM was sent he stated that he has some in his storage. I had some questions because of my uncertainty of what type was need for my year bug. Keith responded that he knew what I needed and would send me one. After a little wrangling to state my sense of urgency we got it shipped.
When you buy tin, especially sight unseen, you always wonder what you are going to get. I opened the package today and was pleasantly surprised that it just had some slight surface rust for a 30+ part under carpet. A little time with the wire wheel and paint, the footrest went in as good as new.
It was well worth my time to hit up Keith on my needs, and I wouldn't be reluctant if I were you to do the same.
Thanks again Keith!!

I received my rebushed/refurbed 30pict-2 from Keith yesterday. It looked brand new - just unbelievable. I stuck in my car, gave the accelerator a few taps and starts right up. I had to make no adjustments whatsoever. I had to run a few errands and it just ran great with the 205T distributor. No hesitation...lots of zip...and best of all...NO LEAKS :D . It was packaged great as well. He also sent a few extra goodies for the wife and kids which was a nice touch. I was just totally impressed and he gave me a great deal at more than a fair price. Even with sick kids to take care of, I got the carb quickly. Keith is definitely the man! If you need to have your carb refurbished/rebushed, I highly recommend him. You will not be sorry - he will do you right.
Thanks again Keith,
Ryan |

| I sent Keith two 28 pict carbs for rebuild. He was unable to get the throttle shaft out of one of them for the rebush job, so he sent me a 30 pict-1 in it's place! Both carbs were rebuilt very well, and that surprise 30 pict woke up the 40 horse a tad and runs smooth as a sewing machine. Thanks again Keith, you're my hero! |

Keith proposed a sale/trade/experiment thing to get a single carb on my 1915 engine. While I'm still experimenting with jets etc. I have to say I am impressed with his honesty, willingness, and patience.
I put the carb on, with jets that were a best guess from Keith, and already its better than what I was running. Totally impressed.
It's nice to do business with such an honorable man.
It's not like he gave me a kidney or anything, but all the same... |

I would also like to express my gratitude to Keith. I got in touch with him from Singapore, placed an order for a 34 Pict-3 and told him that I needed the carb within a certain period during my visit to the US. Not only did the carb arrive on time, it looked great and Keith made sure the carb was completely tested before sending it to me. My hotel had made a slip-up when accepting the delivered package, yet Keith assisted me with sorting things out and I was all smiles when I got my package.
I am glad to have done business with Keith - mainly for his honestly, patience and willingness to go the extra mile to assist his customers. Great guy, great stuff :) |

| Just wanted to add my name to the list of happy customers of Keith. He not only answered my 40hp flywheel questions, he put a matching package of clutch, pressure plate, and throwout bearing together for me. The whole package arrived in great shape! Many thanks! Don Mills |

YellowSplittie wrote: YellowSplittie wrote: Keith just worked on the carb from my Ghia that the "other guy" who does carbs had previously rebuilt and returned to me working worse than when I sent it in.
Keith basically spent a few hours rehabbing the carb (treating it as if it were to be rebuilt for the first time), changed the jet to the correct size, and spent time fine tuning it on his test engine.
It looks awesome out of the box. Unfortunately, it will be several weeks before I can install it and see if it now works as it should. I'll be sure to post the results at that time.
Thanks Keith!
I found some motivation to install the carb onto my Ghia this past weekend.
All I can say is Keith knows his stuff. No more hard starting, the dead spot is gone, idle is spot on. He'll definitely get my business in the future.
Of course 4 hours later I sold the car. :(
Can you find Keith's work in this picture? :)
The car is not mine any more, but the new owner is restoring it. |

I will be buying from this seller. I called several people telling my problems with my carb, they ALL told me I prob needed a rebuilt carb.
I called Keith and he instantlly said I may not need a rebuilt carb. He told me what to do. I had my 1600 idling and the air fuel mix done in 20 minutes, with little experience with the solex. Thanks again, I am so happy my VW is running great!!! |

| I highly recommend Keith. I'm here to say that Keith stands behind his work 100%. First rebuilt carb (pict 1) was not the match for my bus, so he exchanged it for a sweet rebuilt 30 pict 2. Thanks a lot keith. |
