What a lousy, no good, lowdown, piece of crap! That's the carb we started out with, not Keith.
Keith is by far the nicest guy. Period.
My friend's Bug was not running right at all. After all of the diagnosing and tuning we came to the conclusion that it was the Bocar carb. I contacted Keith and arranged a rebuilt German 34P3. We bolted it on last night and immediately found where his horsepower was hiding!
DO NOT HESITATE to consult him, he really knows his stuff. When it comes to anything VW, Keith is definitely THE MAN!
Oh, and Keith, the drink offer stands in perpitude. You rock! |

Thanks Yellow Splitty I got my bus the other day and the po had the carb off and said he cleaned it I am going to try it the way it is and if it doesn't work properly I'll send it to Keith as he wrote me and was very nice and all the posts say wonderful things about his work. The carb I have says 30pict although I don't see it listed in the dictionary I guess it is stock for the beetle motor I have. Today I'll read the engine number to see what year the engine is.

Another great job from Keifernet. The carb runs great out of the box. Just needed to adjust the idle setting.
Thanks Keith.

| I got my two carbs back from Keith today, and they were just as promised...He had a quick turnaround time, and he did a great job on them. He kept me updated the whole time, and he was very reasonable on the cost...I will be sending him any carbs I need rebuilt in the future. Highly recommended! |

| Got my carb plates back from Keith all rebushed, and FAST! and significantly cheaper than RIMCO wanted... very happy, the idle is now steady and smooth, and all those adjustments that wandered all over the place are now nice and in control. Very happy! If there's slop in your throttle shafts dont mess around, get them done right with Keith and then syncing the carbs is a pleasure. |

Well we just installed a "keifernet" special 34PICT3 on a 70 beetle with a 74 engine. It was just about "dead on" right out of the box. All I had to do was adjust the idle speed a squeak. I would reather have a well rebuilt german carb than what is available after market.
The price was more than fair. Speedy shipping and it really was packaged like it was the Baby Jesus being sent through the mail.
Not many things impress me anymore, but this did. Thank you Keith! \:D/ |

I just thought Keith deserved some recognition. After 1 year of fighting with my wife's ghia and getting it to run and idle, Keith has finally resolved my problems.
My wife was about to give up on me since the carb has been rebuilt twice by locals and still no luck. I was running out of options and was just going to buy one on E-bay until I found keifernet (Keith).
In a short amount of time he not only rebuilt the carb the right way but also rebuilt the dizzy and set them both up to simply bolt on and go (Bench sync'd them). With some minimal setup (new timing), new wires, new points, and a rebuilt carb my wife's ghia runs GREAT!!!!!
I highly recommend Keith for your carb woes. I wish I would've known about him a LONG time ago.
(I also posted this in the Ghia forum so others with the same problem could look you up) |

As many owners do, I purchased a project car, took the whole damn thing apart, threw away good stuff, bit off more than I could chew and was left was a half (that's generous) finished project car. I took it to Keith and he saved my ride, thought it nearly led to the death of us both. It had a new wiring harness almost hooked up, loud ass valves from incorrect adjustment, no fuel system, more mechanical problems than I can list/remember. The body was horrible. Huge dent on the drivers side quarter panel, dented apron, dented hood, about 100 dings in the roof and about a million other problems. The car should have been parted out, trust me.
Keith had the patience to finish my project. Choice body work with paint job, custom dash, finished the wiring, replaced door hinges, did I mention it now runs and fully brakes, shifts fine. I really can't list all of the stuff he did to it. Maybe he can check the receipts and fill the rest in. I'm sure I have left a ton of stuff off to.
He took the time to do stuff the right way, not the easy way. If I had it to do all over again I wouldn't have bought that car, way tooo much work. But Keith saved my ride. I doubt Keith would tackle a job this big again, but I would trust him with any job out there.
Thanks a million Keith |
