No problem Chuck...it was/is a labor of love for both of us... not a perfect car but sure did save one semi hacked/beat up ol 70 from a fate worse that what you will give it. (There are a few pics in my gallery but not many of how bad it really was before it got to the paint and body phase.)

Let's get together soon and finish up on the parts I havefor you/owe you still....and I can't wait to see what your upholstery dude did with that semi custom job he was throwing down.

As with most things I do... It took/I take my time.... my customers know I come through and I really appreciate EVERYONE'S patience with me in that regard.

And it is fair to say that you did have another good guy (Meredeth) help you with the wiring harness, front end and brakes, I just did some final hook up etc along with the P & B and ALOT of re assembly and tweeks it needed to be a viable driver.

Sent Keith my dirty worn out carb for rebuild and I got back something clean enough to eat off!!

Thanks Keith, major props.

I just put on the carb that Keith built for me and it works great. He built an original german 34 PICT 3 and it looks almost new! :D . Honest work at a great price. He will almost bend over backwards to help you.
(He has also consulted on the phone with me about other issues I have had with my bug)

He might take awhile to get your carb done because he is so busy now, but it's worth the wait.

I would refer anyone to him without hesitation! :D :D :D

i wanted to add to the 10 pages and say i am very happy with the carb i got rebuilt.
keith is a stand up guy and is very honest, the other guys in the vw world could learn alot on customer service from him.
fast emails and explains everything and makes it seem so simple and look too easy.
well anyways,he knows what cool is.

buy the way,ive never seen a slice of pizza with white rings on it...?
could that be onions?

Hi all,

I wanted to say something about Keith's help and services that no one else had already said, but that would be impossible!

I sent a couple of extra vintage carb bodies ( a 30 PICT-1 and a 28 PICT-1)with worn throttle shafts to Keith for re-bushing after enjoying his helpful posts in other threads. I expected a good job and nice carbs. But what I got was super fast work, beautiful carb parts and nice snug shafts and great communication. I can't wait to put these carbs into service soon and replace the worn ones on these buses so I can feel the difference his quality makes.. Everything was well packed and arrived safe and sound.

Keith is the kind of VW hobbist/vendor that everyone else should try to be. I just hope the others take notice of Keith and follow suit! If you are deciding whether Keith is the man for you, relax and make the call, he's the real deal. I wouldn't hesitate to call for his assistance again.

Many thanks Keith, and I'm looking forward to sending you a 26 VFIS carb and maybe one of my 28 PCI carbs too for refurbishing!

Had to add my 2 cents. Keith Rocks! We had a few problems but he kept with it and in the end I got a beautiful, flawless carb for my Super Beetle. Can't wait to see my Bus Carbs when he's done with them.

I will recommend Keith to anyone who ever needs carb work.

Another satisfying experience from Keith...

This time I sent him my Type IV and 1600 Distributors, but with some "challenges" and they came back shiny, and completely smooth.

I also sent a 28 / Pict 1 carb for my single port, he rebuilt it, then upgraded it from 6v to 12v and it is ready to bolt on and go... He was even nice enough to call to double confirm I was going 12v on my engine.

It's getting so mailing a package to Keith is step one on my restoration projects, I know two more things (the distributor and carb) can be eliminated from the list of issues that I might have to deal with.

Thanks Keith, look forward to the next transaction.

I gotta say, Keith is one stand up guy. We made a deal for a carb. I delayed sending my cores. He still honored the deal. Not only did I get a carb that is better than new, but he went way out of his way to make sure that I got on that would work correctly with my engine. It did take a little time, but if I wanted quick I could have bought a new replacement. I would not hesitate to get another carb from Keith.

I bolted up the 34 pict 3 that Keith rebuilt to my overhauled 1600 DP. The bus is now a totally different animal. It's very, very drivable. No "flat spot" or hesitation anywhere. I have power immediately from a stop, no revvin' the gas and featherin' the clutch. The idle is stable at about 950 RPM. The adjusting screws are exactly where Keith put 'em, and it's perfect. Keith is very helpful on the phone and he set me up with a sweet deal on 2 carbs. I highly recommend Keifernet for all your carb needs.

I dropped my '66 Beetle off with Keith this past week for a complete refresh and look over-
When I picked up the vehicle it was an amazing transformation, the beetle runs fantastic! The engine is running soooo much cooler down here in these temps. It's peppy and a joy to drive!

He's thorough, and explains everything he's servicing in detail (something I really appreciate)...the how's, why's and what's.

If you're local and are looking for someone to trust your vehicle with, Keith's the guy.

Thanks again, Keith

I'd hoped to push it over to a milestone of 11 pages of superior feedback on Keith's services.

I requested from Keith a German Solex 34 Pict-3 that I needed a-sap (was ditching my Bocar), and that's what I got. Not only did he rush it out, most importantly, it was a nice clean rebuild ready to bolt on and dial in. He even made sure it would run bitchen with my 010.

Keith is your first choice for a German Solex.
