And is your motor stock or do you have forged internals?

i can't remember how much it cost, cause it was so long ago (about 3 yrs). but i remember it wasn't that much, and it was easy to do that much i remember.

and i did have forged internals, and it was on a small 1915cc. engine.

Well kinda. From what I understand you have to lower the compression on the engine which is manditory on any engine or else youll blow it up. On "normal" cars, all you have to do is add a thicker head gasket, not so on the "1600". You have to machine the heads down, not sure whats intailed but its a bit more difficult than I thought originally. Go check out www.lowbugget.com the website is very helpful and full of information.

The guy who builds the system had a test car which was an all stock 1600, stock clutch and stock tranny. He ran a 14.2 (I think it was) but dont count on all that lasting for long with twice the h.p output on an engine that was designed 60 years ago and that has 40 h.p !!!!! Im saving my pretty little pennies to buy one!

turbos are the way to go for your car. Most of the time when an engine blows from a turbo it is from poor tuning. I work on diesel trucks and almost all of them are turboed they will run almost forever.
