I saw other threads talking about this, but there isn't enough detail for me to understand the process. The end of the rivet is hollow and I don't want to remove the windows to smash the rivet. The rivet squeezers I've seen in another thread are expensive and I don't see how those would work anyway with a hollow rivet.
Any thoughts? |

Bob,
Where do you live? If you can get down to Laguna Beach, California, I will do it for you, no charge. Just bring the new rivets with you. Wolfsburg West sells them.

Thanks Scott. I'm planning on being at The Classic in Irvine in June. Could you do it there?

No problem. Let me know a little before the Classic that you still want to do it and we'll set up a time to meet at your bus.

I'd use a 15lb sledge and a real sturdy anvil a few long hard hits and they're done! LOL |
