| ok gots a stock 1600dp and i want to get an elct. ing. for it but i'm not sure what to get??!? i don't have alot of money to spend? what works for you guys? |

Pertronix and Compufire are 2 of the most popular and not all that expensive. They make different kits for the stock vacume dist. adn the 009 so make sure you get the correct one for what your going to be using.
There are also more expensive units, coil pack etc. and whole distributor units such as Mallory. |

new 009's you see for 49.00 or whatever are not electronic ignition.
check out the banner ads and shop around cip1.com and aircooled.net and do some searches, read up in the performance forum there has been alot of distrib threads ect. just recently. |
