what is the best way to open a hood w/ out the cable? :idea:
btw it is a 73 bug w/the push button on the hood hadle
i just saved this bug from a ceartin death,it's a mess.i look forward bringing it back to life with alot of help from this board thanks skip... |

Try cutting the hood handle in half with a hack saw or cut off wheel and then unscrew the handle pieces from the mounting bolts.
you will have to buy a new handle. But that is the easiest way to get it open with broken cable.. |
