| Hey guys besides dash and back window.Are those the only real differences between the 2? |

| There were lots of differences, it all depends which year split and which year Oval you are talking about. The 55 and earlier oval are the nearest to a split and in the case of the 52split it is more oval with a split rear window. Body wise on the 55>oval they had a similar pan(exception of choke location which was on the tunnel versuses the dash on the oval) and used the ribbed doors(ribbed around the inside door panel), they had vent windows which Split's did not have until 52. 55 and earlier cars use the same inside window crank and door handles and likewise use the same exterior door handle. The 55 and earlier cars use the same hood and for the exception of horn grilles the same front fenders. The 53 and earlier cars had 25 hp motors and split case trannies but the earlier splits had less synchros in the upper gears. The 52 and earlier split used 16" wheels and the ovals all used 15". The side moulding on a split to 51 had a ribbed extrusion where as the 52 and newer all used the same type trim to 67. The 55 and earlier oval used thin fron seats and back seat bottom with foot on tunnel all ovals 56 and newer used seats like all bugs to 64. There were differences in tail lights, headlights, interior trim,dashes, speedos, door wedges.door prop rods, glass, vent windows, sunroofs,fuel tanks and just about everything you can think of like shocks and torsion bars. | If he didnt mention it splits has one piece windows and oval have vents. |

| Thats pretty good if you see 10 grand worth of difference but i do think the crotch cooler is cool.. :D |
