I'm thinkin 'bout goin but not sure...did anyone attend last year? if so how was it? (attendance, quality of rides etc.) I love goin to these shows but really get dissappointed when I travel very far and when I get there theres only 20 or 40 cars. I'm makin a switch this year from years of attending rod/custom shows and minitruckin events. Theres usually 500 to 1500 rides at those. I realize the "following" might not be as strong....yet....but man the veedub shows out here in the midwest just aren't as lively as the other types of shows, with the "after show hours cruisin" and the bikini contests and you know the whole lifestyle thang. Does anyone else feel the way I do? Seems that there needs to be a gust of freshness blow through the vw shows.Dont get me wrong, I've been veedubbin for 17 years and I love it alot. :roll:

Won't be driving a VW this time up , last year took my Westy up there.............but will be up there to check out some Parts and check out the Show

I'll be wearing my NEW Blue Samba T-Shirt !! :P

I went! There were some pretty decent rides there, I could not take mine because the street in front of my house is flooded with about two feet of water!!!

Just got back too !! Was a Shame that the Park was flooded out with the Huron River overflowing it's Banks there.
Having the Cars near the Depot area wasn't too bad though ?

Hey! thats my car! Well we had a good time there were some really nice cars there. too bad the rain made everyone leave a little early. I'll go back next year. Now I'm lookin forward to the next event. I believe around here, its the Funfest thing in Effingham should be good. Can someone post a link to more pics from the MVVC show?

Man I was 2 or three cars over to the left next to the gold super that got the Mayors award.

Hey, thanks Butter, for tha props. Yeah, I was'nt around my car much that day...i had my lil boy with me and he was FIENDIN' for those hotwheels and matchbox cars! He did end up with two really cool bus toys though. Cars better be the only thing he ever fiends for. I'm gonna really try to get to that Bug-Out. Hope to get to talk to you guys there. I understand that I'm alarmingly ugly and repulsive but if you do see me feel free to talk to me , I'm a good listener.....(I've gotta wife!)lol :lol:

That Vendor was "MOFOCO" ? I know they had some on Display up at Great Lakes Dragway in Union Grove, Wisconsin during their Bugfest 2 years ago?
