some of these are cool...i.e. the freehold, toms river and somerville cruise nights are good from my past experiences

Paul,
I'll be attending the Medford car show on Saturday May 22nd.
They close down main street, and will get like 500 cars.
Really nice little town with lots of shops and stuff.
Should be pretty cool to show up in a VW bus with all those Chevy's.
Later,
John

I went to a random cruise night up here in north jersey last summer. Everyone looked at my bus like I was kidding or something. "Why would you show that?" Ahh, the misunderstood VW owner has a lonely path to lead.

Went to the Medford carshow today.
Won trophies for both the 23 window '63 deluxe bus and the '69 beetle cabriolet.
Those American Iron guys really liked seeing the VW's, it was a participant judged event. Both vehicles were in the "Foreign/Special Interest/Other" category, which meant I was competing with other foreign cars, military vehicles, and "ricers". It felt good smoking the Hondas.

Looks like the Chevy heads and the VW afficiandos have one thing in common: "We all hate ricers!"
