What is the difference between the Outbox and the Sentbox? I have been going in and deleting messages in both that I don't want to keep but am I preventing some messages from actually going out if I delete them from the Outbox?

Yep. If there is something in your outbox it means the receiver hasn't gotten it yet. If you delete it, it is undelivered.
It is safe to delete messages from your sentbox and inbox. |

OK. Sometimes it seems it takes a long time for a message to leave the Outbox. I think I have deleted some messages from there. If anyone is PO'd at me for not getting back to them on something, my apologies. Let me know and allow me to redeem myself. Thanks.

I think messages stay in your Outbox until the person you sent it to logs on to the Samba.

That would make sense.
