| There is a hole at the end of the rocker in front of the back wheel, I stuck my finger in there and could pull out sand, scaley crap, etc. The sand would be from when the car was sand blasted to remove the old paint. Im sure its not great in there but i would like to clean it out before I rust proof it. How? I thought of conneting a thin tube to a Vacume cleaner. Would it be really stupid to put a hose in there and flush it out with water, then maybe a hair dryer blowing down there to dry it. |

The rockers have drain areas by design, but I'd stick with the
vacuum cleaner method you described. Probably not a good
idea to introduce water voluntarily into a structure that is
so prone to rust without any additional help. :-s |

True, Thanx
Just thinking, those factory drain holes, if their designed to let water out, would they not let water in too? I suspect alot of water would spray up from the tyres into the holes in wet weather. |
