i just converted my bug to 12 volt and they gave me a new flasher. and i keep blowing fuses, and when if the fuse lasts long enough the flasher starts to smoke. i hooked it up like you are suppose to, 31 ground, 49 battery, 49a lights. i don't know why its getting so much current.
also, when they do work the left side blinks faster than the other and the left side has both lights working. the right side blinks normal and only the back one works(that just seemed kind of backwards to me) |

| Posted to wrong forum driver_37, but high current is usually bad connections and lots of corrosion. To start clean & tighten all sockets, bulbs, & wire connections. Possible wrong bulbs installed too. What flasher do you have, and what bulbs are installed? |
