I'm trying to figure out why my car won't start. It spins fine and almost catches but then dies.

I've replaced the electric fuel pump, fuel filter and cold start valve. I've checked the points and the coil, and replaced the condenser. I've checked all the hoses, wiring, battery and fuses. I've performed a bunch of tests with my VOM per the Bosch L-Jetronic manual and Bentley. Looks now like the double (aka "combination") relay is not working. I can't find anyone who sells one. The Bosch part number is 0 332 514 120. It's in the Bosch web parts catalog. Anybody know where I can get one?

Hey, I finally found the part. Turns out it was also used on 1975-78 BMW 530i autos, which were also 4 cylinder with fuel injection. So hopefully this weekend I'll put it in and see if it solves my problem.

By the way, I know why it's doing this: I put this car up for sale briefly a few weeks ago and so now it's getting back at me.

Yeah, I almost bought something but a fellow Sambanista was able to give me some feedback that made me reconsider. I'm following up on another one and this time I'll wait until the new one is in my driveway before putting up my 79 for sale...If it lets me...
