Thinking of putting a ragtop from Streetbeat Customs on my 71, has anyone installed one or heard of any problems? I would really like to know before I take this big step...

| I dont know who exactly made mine (I bought the car with it on already). Im not to fond of it. At high speeds (60-70 mph :roll: ) it rattles and makes all kind of noises. Theres a foam strip that goes completly around the top of the car where the hole is to prevent rain and such, well its real cheap and mines all falling apart and comming off. Last but not least!! If you live in an apartment and have no way of washing your car and take it to the local car wash, be careful of the high powered sprayers as the roof will leak (meaning) water will get in between the canvas and the weather stripping. But other than that............it looks cool :? |
