From what I understand, the Supers are better autoX cars since they have a McPherson strut front suspension and IRS, unlike the standards which use torsion bars. They are a little heavier though.
I think there's a guy on this board with a blue super that races porsches :)

You might not want a super to run the Baja 500 with big dips and bumps, but it runs great on or off road with a semiflat track/course. As you can see from the videos posted above that not only does it steer with the steering wheel, but you can throttle steer it as well. There's nothing like the feeling of hanging it out sideways in a corner. :shock:
