The kit I used on Herman required no new spindles. FWIW, you are basically putting Ghia front discs on a Super Beetle. The Ghia and the Supers shared front spindles. You WILL need an adapter for the calipers (obviously), but that's a simple bolt on affair.
You can check my website (in sig) for the process and the details of what is included in the kit. After 10,000 miles, and enough rain storms, I'm thrilled with the install and HIGHLY recommend it.

| Thanks Larry! I had been looking at your pages but wasn't quote sure what I might be missing. Looks like all I need then is the adapter plates. |

| I finally got around to buying the front disc brakes from SoCal, took me all summer :lol:, so i am gong to install them not this weekend but next weekend. I will take pictures and tell ya'll how it goes |
