| What year was the deck lid prop the rod version, as opposed to the hinge version? My '60 has the hinge - but I also have a deck lid with the rod as the prop- |

| hinge prop to 63. 64 later had the spring loaded deal. |

| they changed the decklid prop at the same time they changed the front door handles... dec 63. pull handle door buses have the elbow prop, push button buses got the spring prop. |
