Hi,

can anyone tell me if the oval vent window lever is exactly the same as the splitbus lever to 1960, Im missing both? I hear the arms are different length for different pariods so what about this period? Can ya help me??? :)

If I just file some off the lug at the bottom is everything else the same?

That said if theyre not exact other than the lug, does anyone have a NOS bus set for sale? Save me chopping up some nice bug ones I found :( .

The vent locks are the same 1956-64 Beetles as 1955-67 Buses, it is just that the beetle left lock is the right lock on the bus.

I would just buy new ones from Wolfsburg West, they make really nice repro's for $13. The old used ones will probably break in a year, and it would be a pain to pull it all out and do it over again once you have it apart..

The latches are DIFFERENT!!!! Note the differences!

yeah thanks had seen this photo but couldnt be sure there werent any other small differences like shaft width or length/shape etc. Thanks all we'll see. the beetle one i have are nos so.... :?
