| Im thinking about buying and oval from a guy but he says that the paint (8 months old) is getting the orange peal effect and would most likely need to be color sanded and maybe reclearcoated... in general, if im going to have this done professionally how much is it going to cost me if i do decide to do it? |

| to have it color sanded adn buffed, depending upon the color (blacks and reds are more), if not those colors your looking at around $350.. once again depends on how crappy a paint job he did, and how bad the orange peel is. |

| Is it a solid or metallic,because if its a single stage metallic you can't sand and buff. You'll have to repaint it and that will be more that $300. |

Orange peal is there from the get go...it doesn't appear in time....so if he told you that you might want to ask some questions about the painting steps he took....or where he had it painted....This will tell you if it needs to be painted again. |
