Anyone know where I can get a headlight repair panel that goes all the way down the front of the car next to the nose? I have a picture of one here:
http://home.comcast.net/~149bart/1969_ghia.html
Center of the page, there is a group of repair panels, the one I speak of is leaning up against the ladder.
I've been looking at several sites, KGPR, mtmfg, bfyo, rocky mountain, etc. and haven't seen this type, just the small ring type that fits about an inch or so over the original area. I'd like to get a match for the driver's side.
P.S.- Anyone know a good VW body/welding place north of San Francisco?

We may have that exact piece left in stock, but it would be NOS and expen$ive. Give us a call during business hours, and have someone physically check our NOS inventory for headlight sections (Ask for Andre).

| I might have a line on one you can get, if anyone can tell us for sure that the bit from a '71 will fit up correctly. Can probably get the whole front clip if you want it. |

| Oh yeah, might might want to check with Valley Wagonworks in San Rafael and see if they have a body shop they recommend up in your area. (415) 457-5628 |

Thanks everyone, maybe I should just sell the peice I have and buy other parts for the car? Sounds like I could get some decent $$ for it, though, having another one like it might make the job easier.... An earlier post said it could be bought out of country NOS for like $350 plus shipping....!!!
I pass through San Rafael daily, I'll stop by or give them a call Coby, thanks.
